Dr. Halimi is a seasoned higher education administrator with nearly 20 years of experience in designing and delivering innovative high impact learning offerings, both locally and globally. She is a multi-cultural and multi-lingual international educator who has held leadership positions at Portland State University, Bellevue College and Oregon Department of Education.
She holds a doctorate degree in Public Administration and Policy from Portland State University and a Master’s in Public Affairs from Indiana University. She has taught underÂ鶹ӰÊÓ and Â鶹ӰÊÓ level courses and is the author and co-author of numerous articles, book chapters, toolkits, case studies, white papers and reports. In her spare time, she enjoys poetry reading, playing volleyball, improving her Spanish language skills and exploring Portland’s culinary scene. She is an avid traveler and has visited more than 40 countries around the world.
