Areas I Teach
Dr. Samantha Lewis joined Â鶹ӰÊÓ in July 2017, after having spent almost 15 years engaged in auditory research.
Her areas of specialty include auditory rehabilitation, audiologic counseling, (central) auditory processing, geriatrics, and tinnitus. She also has a strong research interest in the epidemiology of auditory dysfunction and hearing aid outcomes.
Dr. Lewis completed her Bachelor of Arts in Communications Sciences and Disorders (with a minor in Secondary Education) from the University of Florida in 1996, her Master of Arts in Audiology from the University of Connecticut in 1998, and Doctor of Philosophy in Audiology from the University of Florida in 2002. Clearly, with two degrees from the University of Florida, she is a Florida Gator fan!
