Practice/Research Interests
My practice area is ambulatory care pharmacy in a primary care clinic within a federally qualified health center. I see patients for management of diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, asthma and COPD as part of an interprofessional patient centered medical home. I also work closely with our post-Â鶹ӰÊÓ learners in helping to prepare them to be independent clinical practitioners. My research area of interest is related to student and post-grad learning. My current research is focused on student learning particularly in skills based courses.
Outside the Classroom
Dr. Nuziale is originally from New York City and has enjoyed exploring the PNW since his move here a few years ago. His favorite place to be is the beach and the beautiful Oregon coast. He enjoys hiking (especially with his 2 dogs) and trying out all the great food options around the greater Portland metro area. He had a long road to reach his pharmacy goals, so he enjoys talking with students about their journeys and helping them plan out how to get to the next stage of their professional lives.
